One important topic of discussion in the logistics industry today is carrier qualification.  What do you do to make sure you are using the best carrier available for the job?  There are many different ideas about what should be done to ensure only the safest drivers are on the road today, and Anchor Freight has it's own policy for qualifying carriers for each load. 

We continuously monitor all of our carriers to make sure there are no changes in their federal safety ratings or operating authority.  We also look for changes to their insurance policies to make sure they have proper coverage for any assigned loads.  We also check references for new carriers to make sure the company really is who they say they are.  These little steps add up to be an extra layer of protection for our customers, and help us ensure that we maintain a quality pool of carriers to work with.
